Janet Waller

Janet Waller was born on October 29, 1941 in Rocking-

(Washington) Brown. Janet was the 13th child of 13 children.
Janet accepted Christ at the age of 12 and became a member
of Ellerbe Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of
Reverend Boone.

She began her education in Rockingham, North Carolina.
She was allowed to join the basketball team in the third
grade. She became one of the greatest players on the
team and eventually became captain. In 1958, she relocated
to Rochester, New York and finished her education at
Franklin High School.

On May 5, 1962, Janet married the love of her life Wade Waller.

a stepson Clarence Hollins. In 1971, Janet began her career                                                                                  at Eastman Kodak Company -- after 28 years she retired. While
working at Kodak, she was also a home care provider for
intellectually disabled. She worked with four men for 25 years.

Janet and her husband joined Holy Trinity Church, with
his famiy, under the leadership of Reverend Daniel. After Rev.
Daniel’s passing, Janet came up with the idea to start a new
