Obituary of Nathan L. Bernard
On Wednesday, April 29, 2020 heaven gained an angel.
Loving son and father, Nathan Lewis Bernard passed away
at the age of 32,
He was born April 20, 1988 in Rochester, N.Y. As a child,
Nathan was adventurous, thrill seeking and fun loving.
There'd be countless morning of play wrestling, afternoon
of basketball, and nights of games.
He attended the Children School of Rochester, James Madison
middle school and graduated high school at Wilson Magnet.
Known for his humor and loyalty to those he loved, it was
through these experiences that he met a multiplicity of people
that were integral in shaping his character.
Nathan was very social and loved by his family and friends,
no matter where he went, he was on the phone engaged in a
conversation. Described as a comedian, Nathan was often the
life of the party and brought laughter to all around with a
quip or silly joke.
Nathan had many goals in life; paramount of which being
fatherhood. He would fawn over his daughters endlessly, doing
anything to bring a smile to their faces. His second passion
was his family, he was very adamant about what it meant to be
a family, and steadfast in ensuring that his idea of family
was felt. A close third was is music, endlessly writing songs
and producing music, you'd find his music everywhere he went.
Nate left a last impression on all those he encountered, with
an infectious laugh, witty humor, and charming presence.
He is survived by his parents Beverly, Rochester N. Y. and
Egland of Orlando, FL twin rother Jonathan, sister Ariel and
children, Shanae, Brielle, Aleena, and honorary daughter Shatavia.
loving aunts & uncles, many cousins, and close friends.
Nathan lives on in all he touched.
