Obituary of James Oglesby
My son has left this Earth to touch the face of God. James leaves a
huge emptiness in the hearts of all of us who loved him. He was a
son, a brother and a dear friend. He will be missed by his family and
friends and forever loved.
James worked hard for over 25 years and never missed a day of work.
He believed that anything that you wanted in life you had to work
hard to achieve it. James was a quiet person but once you got to know
him he had jokes and laughs for days. He was a true Steelers fan,
and would always give you a hard time if your team did not win. He
enjoyed going out to eat, or just watching sports on TV, most of all he
loved to grab a few scratch off lottery tickets. James was looking for
the big win so he could share his winnings with his family.
James captured the hearts of everyone he met and was deeply loved
by his family. He often spoke of how proud he was of his nieces and
nephews for all of their accomplishments.
James Oglesby leaves to cherish his memories and to “Celebrate His
Life” his mother Pauline Jones; brothers: Leonard Arthur and Jerry
(Nicole) Oglesby; sister Judy Oglesby; nephews: James, Ramiek and
Jahir; nieces: Ramya, Tiara and Tyra and great-niece Azaria.
